A young volunteer-in-training happily poured water and served meals to guests.
Pam Zaugg welcomes the community to the dinner. She also circulated through the hall with a notebook, asking people to share what they’re thankful for this year — with one rule: no repeating what someone else had already said.
Aspirus Hospital and Howard Young Medical Center catered and sponsored the turkey dinner, which included mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, dinner rolls, and a choice of apple or pumpkin pie.
