The Spooktacular Car Show featured vintage and classic cars, all decked out for the spooky season.

Pumpkin chuckin’ thrilled participants, who pulled back slingshots to launch pumpkins at inflatable targets floating on North Twin Lake.

Even the dogs were feelin' festive.

About 70 vendors lined the streets, offering everything from BBQ sauce to wine tastings. Visitors also enjoyed a quilt show and a variety of festive fall activities. —Photos By Sharon Gifford

SCARECROW FEST – The 16th annual Scarecrow Fest drew crowds to downtown Phelps on Saturday, turning the lakeside park into a lively autumn gathering despite the heat. Hosted by the Phelps Women’s Club, the festival featured craft vendors, a mums sale, games, live music, a car show, and plenty of food — from food trucks and Lions Club grills to complimentary chili.
