WOMEN ON SNOW IN 20 BELOW — Extremely cold temperatures last weekend hindered but didn’t stop Women on Snow’s 40th annual snowmobiling excursion. After postponing Friday’s ride, the 112 women in attendance finally hit the trails late Saturday morning after spending more than an hour trying to get sleds started at Eagle Waters Resort in Eagle River, the group’s home base. Here, riders depart for a day on the trails before returning for the Women on Snow evening banquet. —Staff Photos By CHRISTINA BRANDMEIER
