The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 274 CAD calls last week, which included 46 911 hangups, four car versus deer accidents, one hit-and-run traffic accident, five personal injury accidents, two non-reportable traffic accidents, seven property damage accidents, three agency assists, six burglary alarms, one fire alarm, one fake ID, seven ambulance requests, two dog bites, one animal neglect/cruelty, three animal problems, two all points broadcast, one locate attempt, two ATV injury accident, one boating/jet ski violation, eight conditions of bond, 11 citizen assists, one carbon monoxide alarm, two criminal damage to property calls, two death investigations, three disorderly conducts, two deer dispatches, three disturbances, two domestic violence complaints, three emergency detentions, five sick leaves, one fire, four found property calls, one drive off, two harassments, eight warrant/hit confirmations, 17 information reports, one employee injured on duty, one jail problem, one medical incident in jail, six juvenile problems, two powerlines down, two lost property calls, one lost or missing person, two noise complaints, one drug overdose, one drug or alcohol-related OWI, two probation violations, three vacation checks, two officer assists, three search warrants, one lewd and lacivious, two smoke reported calls, three removed subjects, one suicide attempt, 20 suspicious circumstances, one property/general theft, one automobile theft, one identity theft, two threats, five hazards, 19 traffic violations, one prisoner transport, two warrant transports, two trespassing calls, one wanted person and 14 welfare checks.
There were 21 people taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail last week.
The Eagle River Police Department did not provide an incident report before the deadline to print this week’s publication.
The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 73 incident types last week, which included six 91, two accidents, four ambulance calls, one animal bite, two other animal incidents, one motorist assist, one other agency assist, 16 business checks, one civil matter, five extra patrols, two miscellaneous fires, two threats, three hazards, two information reports, one motor vehicle theft, seven ordinance violations, three parking tickets, one reckless driving incident, one recreational, five suspicious circumstances, one theft, four traffic stops and one trespassing.
