Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department reported 339 CAD calls last week, which included 60 91 hangups, four abandoned vehicles, one bicycle accident, seven car versus deer accidents, three hit-and-run traffic accidents, two personal injury accidents, four non-reportable traffic accidents, eight property damage accidents, six agency assists, one aircraft problem, two burglary or intrusion alarms, four fire alarms, five ambulance requests, five dog bites, two animal neglect/cruelty, one animal noise, three animal problems, one all points broadcast, three locate attempts, two ATV injury accident, one ATV complaint, one battery, one boating violation, eight conditions of bond, 15 citizen assists, one carbon monoxide alarm, one communications problem, four criminal damage to property, three deer dispatches, six disturbances, two domestic violence complaints, three sick leaves, eight fireworks complaints, six found property calls, four frauds, one internet fraud, one drive-off, four harassments, 12 warrant/hit confirmations, one dumping, 33 information reports, one injured employee on duty, one intoxicated person, two problems in jail, seven juvenile problems, four lost properties, one lost or missing person, four noise complaints, ne DOC offender release, four drug or alcohol-related OWIs, five parking problems, one protection orner, one officer assist, two search warrants, one lewd and lacivious, three removed subjects, 13 suspicious circumstances, one property/general theft, three threats, three hazards, 18 traffic violations, one court transport, one medical jail transport, two warrant transports, four trepassing calls, one unsecure premise, one utility problem, one general weapons offense and 12 welfare checks. There were 23 people taken into custody last week by the VCSO.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department responded to 48 incidents last week, which included one aircraft problem, two medical assists, four animal problems, two bail jumping incidents, one custodial interference, one citizen assist, one controlled substance incident, four disorderly conducts, two false alarms, two fires, two fireworks, two information reports, one juvenile problem, three lost or found property incidents, one noise complaint, one probation violation, four suspicious circumstances, one hit-and-run traffic accident, two property damage traffic accidents, three traffic offenses, two property thefts, one utility problem and five welfare checks. Five people were taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 156 incidents last week, which included 16 911, two abandoned vehicles, four accidents, two accidents with injuries, nine ambulances, six animals, nine citizen assists, two other agency assists, one barking dog, 31 business checks, two civil matters, one death investigation, one disturbance, seven extra patrols, one brush fire, one miscellaneous fire, one fire alarm, four fireworks, one fraud, one harassment, three hazards, one welfare check, six information reports, two noise complaints, three parking tickets, seven property incidents, one reckless driving incident, eight recreational, one scam, one service, one sqaud damage, one suspicuous circumstances, two traffic complaints, one traffic control and 16 traffic stops.
