The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 233 CAD calls last week, which included 26 911 hangups, one car versus bear accident, three car versus deer accidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, three personal injury accidents, five agency assists, four burglary alarms, three fire alarms, seven ambulance requests, one animal neglect, three animal problems, one locate attempt, two bond condition violations, nine conditions of bond, 11 citizen assists, two communications problems, two criminal damage to property calls, one death investigation, four disorderly conducts, five deer dispatches, four distubances, one domestic violence complaint, two drug problems, three sick leaves, one escort, one grass/brush fire, one vehicle fire, two found property calls, two frauds, three drive offs, two harassments, one hazardous materials spill, two warrant/hit confirmations, 26 information reports, one intoxicated person, eight juvenile problems, three lifeline alarms, three powerlines down, one drug or alcohol-related OWI, one parking problem, two runaway juvenile, two smoke reported calls, one stalking complaint, one removed subject, three suicide attempts, four suspicious circumstances, seven property/general thefts, one identity theft, 14 hazards, 11 traffic violations, one prisioner transport, one court transport, two trespassing calls, one unsecure premise, one wanted person and 18 welfare checks. Eight people were taken into custody last week and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department responded to 30 incidents last week, which included two alarms, three ambulance assists, three animal problems, one bail jumping, one citizen dispute, two citizen assists, one controlled substance, four disorderly conducts, one domestic violence offense, four information reports, two intoxicated people, one juvenile problem, two lost or found property calls, two suspicious circumstances, one search warrant, one hit-and-run traffic accident, one property damage traffic accidents, one traffic accidents, one trespassing, one theft and five welfare checks.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 92 incident types last week, which included six 911, two accidents, one alarm, six ambulances, four all-other animals, one citizen assist, one bartender application, 33 business checks, three commitments, one disturbance, four extra patrols, one fire, one fire alarm, one fireworks, one harassment, one hazard, one welfare check, one information report, one missing person, two ordinance violations, one paper service, one parking ticket, three reckless driving calls, five recreational calls, two services, one suspicious circumstances, five traffic stops, one trespassing and one underage drinking.
