Vilas County Sheriff

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office reported 201 CAD calls last week, which included 26 911 hangups, one abandoned vehicle, nine car-versus-deer accidents, one hit-and-run traffic accident, one personal injury accident, four non-reportable traffic accidents, one property damage accident, six agency assists, one burglary or intrusion alarm, one fire alarm, eight ambulance requests, five dog bites, one animal problem, two locate attempts, eight conditions of bond, one child abuse or neglect, eight citizen assists, one citizen problem, one communications problem, one death investigation, two disorderly conducts, two deer dispatches, two disturbances, one drug problem, six sick leaves, two structure fires, one found property call, two frauds, four drive offs, two harassments, four warrant confirmations, 12 information reports, four juvenile problems, three lost property calls, two lost or missing person calls, three noise complaints, one DOC offender release, one parking problem, two probation violations, two officer assists, two suicide attempts, seven suspicious circumstances, three property/general thefts, one contract theft, one identity theft, one threat, eight hazards, eight traffic violations, one court transport, one transport warrant, three trespassing calls, one unsecure premise, one VIN number inspection, two general weapons offenses and 16 welfare checks.

One person was taken into custody and booked into the Vilas County Jail.

Eagle River Police

The Eagle River Police Department did not provide an incident report from last week before the deadline to publish this week’s paper.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department responded to 82 incident types last week, which included two 911, one accident with injuries, one alarm, three ambulances, three animals, one citizen assist, one barking dog, 47 business checks, one civil matter, one domestic, two extra patrols, one gunshot, one harassment, one noise complaint, one OWI, one ordinance violation, one reckless driving, one sexual assault, one shoplifting, three suspicious circumstances, one theft, six traffic stops and one transport.
