Posted

Samantha Mendez, 37, of West Allis, appeared for a sentencing hearing on one felony charge of possession with intent of fentanyl. Judge Martha Milanowski imposed and stayed a five-year sentence (two years initial confinement and three extended supervision) for three years of probation with conditions. There were $518 in court costs and 405 days of presentence credit in the case of revocation.

Danielle Boettcher, 52, of Phelps, waived a prelimi-nary hearing on one felony charge of bail jumping and two misdemeanor charges. The court found probable cause, and the case was bound over for trial. A not-guilty plea was entered by the court. Boettcher also had a hearing for one felony charge of fourth-offense OWI. A judicial pretrial was scheduled for both cases on Feb. 10, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.

Trinity Duncan, 25, of St. Germain, failed to appear for a preliminary hearing on one felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and one misdemeanor operating while revoked charge. The court authorized a body-only bench warrant, and there is no voluntary appearance. Judge Martha Milanowski also ordered a cash bond forfeiture of $50.

Jaime Rice, 41, of Eagle River, had his felony charge of possession of narcotic drugs dismissed at a review hearing last week. Prosecutors requested that the Deferred Entry of Judgement be terminated early. The court granted the motion, and Rice was discharged from his bond, and the case was dismissed.
