Devin Hampton, 21, of Lac du Flambeau, appeared for a motion hearing last week on one felony charge of possession of narcotic drugs and one felony charge of possession of THC. Prosecutors and the defense spoke to the motion to revoke the Deferred Entry of Judgement that was approved in late September. Hampton pleaded guilty to both counts at that plea hearing in September. A sentencing hearing was scheduled for Jan. 5, 2026, at 2 p.m.

Skye Linklater, 22, of Lac du Flambeau, appeared in custody for a status hearing on one felony charge of possession with intent of fentanyl.
  Defendant argued a bond motion, and Judge Daniel Overbey denied the motion during the hearing. Linklater’s bond is set at $500 cash with conditions to maintain absolute sobriety, not possess or consume intoxicants, not be in the tavern portion of any restaurant premises, not to possess, use, or ingest illegal drugs, not take prescription drugs unless prescribed to you and only as prescribed and no possession of any hypodermic needles.
  An adjourned initial appearance was then scheduled for Jan. 5, 2026, at 9 a.m.

Steven Martinson, 23, of Hayward, waived his preliminary hearing last week on one felony charge of possession of narcotic drugs. The court found probable cause, and Martinson was bound over for trial. The court entered a not-guilty plea. Judge Overbey also granted a bond modifi cation. A plea/sentencing hearing was scheduled for Jan. 9, 2026, at 10 a.m.
