Brooke Bennett, 33, appeared for a sentencing hearing for multiple felony charges across multiple cases. Felonies included possession with intent of fentanyl and possession with intent of cocaine. Bennett was given five years of probation with conditions for those two felony charges. She was also sentenced for three felony counts of possession of narcotic drugs. Bennett was given three years of probation with conditions, which will run concurrently to the other charges. Multiple felony and misdemeanor charges were dismissed, but read into the record for sentencing.
Alyah Stone, 26, of Lac du Flambeau, appeared for a judicial pretrial on one felony charge of misappropriating ID info to obtain money. The defense updated the court, and a plea/sentencing hearing was scheduled for Feb. 18, 2026, at 10 a.m.
Patrick Ninham, 55, of Keshena, appeared remotely in custody for a preliminary hearing on one felony charge of fifth-or sixth-offense OWI. The court found probable cause, and Ninham was bound over for trial. The defense entered a not-guilty plea at the hearing.
A final pretrial was scheduled for Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. A jury trial was calendared for Jan. 28, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
Ashlynn Danielle Thoms, 24, of Lac du Flambeau, appeared in person and in custody for a plea hearing on one felony charge of manufacture/delivery of fentanyl and one felony charge of first-degree reckless homicide/delivery of drugs. The felony fentanyl charge was dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion, and Thoms pleaded guilty to the first-degree reckless homicide/delivery of drugs. The court found Thoms guilty, and a sentencing hearing was scheduled for Jan. 16, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.
