Flambeau woman sentenced for multiple drug charges
Heather Wolfe, 47, of Lac du Flambeau, pleaded guilty to one felony charge of possession with intent to distribute amphetamine/methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. A third felony charge was dismissed but read into the record for sentencing. Judge Daniel Overbey sentenced Wolfe to serve four years of confinement in jail and an additional four years of extended supervision. There was $518 in fines/costs, payable to the Department of Corrections. The offenses took place Dec. 15, 2025.
Doni Poupart, 40, of Lac Du Flambeau, appeared for a preliminary hearing on one felony charge of harboring/aiding a felon, one felony possession of narcotic drugs and one misdemeanor. Judge Daniel Overbey ordered Poupart’s cash bond to be amended from $5,000 to $1,500 with conditions. The offenses occurred Aug. 11.
Carmen Potts, 46, of Lac du Flambeau, appeared for a on one fourth-offense felony OWI and one misdemeanor. Potts pleaded guilty to both charges and was found guilty. Judge Daniel Overbey stayed a sentence of 180 days in Vilas Jail for three years of probation with conditions. Two conditions include 60 days of conditional jail and $2,702 payable to the Clerk of Courts office. There will also be a three year revocation period. Potts will also pay a $150 fine and $642 in court costs for count two. There were two days of credit in the case of revocation.
Gabriel Thompson, 35, of Lac du Flambeau, pleaded guilty to one felony count of possession of narcotic drugs at a plea/sentencing hearing last week. Thompson was sentenced to 18 months of confinement and two years of extended supervision. This is concurrent to the sentence he is currently serving. There were 46 days of presentence credit. The offense took place on March 3, 2026.
