David Eugene Trzecinski of Watersmeet MI, died on Oct. 4, 2023, at age 79.
He was born April 7,1944, to Olive Trzecinski of Watersmeet.
Mr. Trzecinski attended and graduated from Watersmeet High School.
Mr. Trzecinski was united in marriage to Ruth Gugustine on July 7, 1966. Together they had three children Sheila, Tammy, and David.
Mr. Trzecinski spent thirty-two years working at the White Pine mine until its closing. Following White Pine, he then worked at the Northern Waters Casino in Watersmeet until his retirement.
He was an active member of the Watersmeet fire department for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family.
Mr. Trzecinski was preceded in death by his mother, Olive; and one brother Henry James (Jim) Trzecinski.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; one brother, Gary of Texas; three children, Sheila, Tammy, David; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many cousins.
A funeral service for David and his brother Jim will be held concurrently Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, 12:00 p.m. at the Watersmeet Bible Church in Watersmeet with Pastor Rob Yerks officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service, and luncheon will follow.
