Forward Bank has announced the start of a remodeling project at its future Eagle River location at 5035 Highway 70 W.
The investment marks an important step in the bank’s continued commitment to serving the Northwoods and will allow Forward to expand its banking services into the Eagle River community once construction is complete.
As a depositor-owned bank, Forward Bank makes decisions with its customers and communities in mind.
Rather than answering to shareholders, the bank reinvests its earnings into better services, stronger
communities, and long-term relationships. The Eagle River project reflects that commitment and builds on Forward’s long history of serving families, businesses, and communities.
The remodeled location will provide customers with expanded access to local banking expertise, including commercial, consumer lending, mortgage, insurance, and wealth management. The Eagle River office will be led by experienced local lenders who understand the needs of the Northwoods and are committed to helping individuals, families, and businesses reach their financial goals.
“We’re excited to bring Forward Bank to Eagle River and continue building relationships throughout the
Northwoods,” said Larry Snedden, vice president and senior commercial lender. “This community has a
strong entrepreneurial spirit, and we’re looking forward to helping local businesses grow, supporting
families as they purchase homes, and being a trusted financial partner for years to come.”
The first step in the project is site clean-up. Additional updates, including the anticipated opening date, will be shared as the project progresses.
“Eagle River is a natural fit for Forward Bank,” said Jake Weinand, vice president and Northwoods market president. “Our mission is ‘moving our communities forward,’ and this investment demonstrates our commitment to the Northwoods. As a depositor-owned bank, every decision we make is focused on creating long-term value for our customers, supporting local businesses, and strengthening the
communities we call home. We’re excited to become part of Eagle River and look forward to serving this
community for generations.”
