Rebecca Effa passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, in Frisco, Texas, at the age of 88.
Rebecca was born on May 18, 1938, the only child of Jacob "Bud" and Ellen (Currier) Colligan. She grew up in Wild Rose, Wisconsin.
On July 25, 1959, Rebecca married the love of her life, John Effa. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on family, fun and hospitality. As a dedicated homemaker, Rebecca poured her talents into caring for her family and entertaining friends.
After retirement Rebecca and John split their time between homes in Three Lakes and Green Valley, Arizona.
Rebecca’s legacy lives on through her children, DeAnn, John Jr., and Steve. She was a proud grandmother to Evan, Paige, McKenna, and John; and an adoring great-grandmother to Connor.
Rebecca will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love for her family.
