Northwoods Share (NWS) will host its next community dinner on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the Rock Mission Center in Eagle River. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for appetizers and dinner is served at 5:30 p.m.
Our Savior Lutheran Church and Incredible Bank are sponsoring the meal, which Trigs will cater, and includes a menu of lasagna, salad, corn, garlic bread and cupcakes.
There will be an opportunity to give a free-will offering for those interested.
NWS is a nonprofit organization with a Needs Ministry which provides a pantry with free paper products and soaps, along with personal care items and clothing, to assist families in the community. This is open every Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m located just behind The Rock Mission Center, across from Tone Zone in Eagle River.
NWS also has a program called ICHELP that helps financially and assists families in budgeting with spending journals. There is a 24-hour phone number available for emergencies at (715) 891-8966.
Most recently, NWS opened its first Esther’s House as a transitional home for moms and their children.
