Patricia Ellen (Petersen) Nelson of Eagle River died Monday, Nov. 10, 2024. She was 85.
She was born Feb. 23, 1939, in Menasha, WI to Vernon and Florence Petersen.
She enjoyed baking sweets and spending time with family, she also enjoyed adventurous camping trips, musky fishing, golfing, and intense cribbage battles for the dollar win with her husband Larry.
Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her son, Michael Nelson; parents, Vernon and Florence Petersen.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Larry Nelson; sons, Timothy Nelson and Daniel (Karen) Nelson; daughter, Janey Nelson; 10 grandchildren; along with sisters; brothers; and other family and friends.
A memorial service was held Friday November 15, 2024, at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, WI. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service; and was followed by a social gathering.
