Christopher Gagnon, 38, of Eagle River, pleaded not guilty to one felony charge of narcotic drug possession at his arraignment hearing last week in Vilas County Court. Bond was continued in the case and a judicial pretrial hearing Nov. 12, at 9:15 a.m.
Destiny Deverney, 19, of Lac du Flambeau, had a bond motion denied at an adjourned initial appearance on one felony count of methamphetamine possession and one felony count for bail jumping.
The $500 cash bond was continued and the conditions remained the same, which included maintaining absolute sobriety, not possessing or consuming intoxicants, no taverns, or being in the tavern portion of any restaurant premises, not possessing or using illegal drugs and not taking prescription drugs unless prescribed to you and only as prescribed.
The defense also confirmed the receipt of the criminal complaint during the hearing.
Another adjourned initial appearance is set for Nov. 11, at 9 a.m.
Michael J. Allen Jr, 45, of Lac du Flambeau, waived his preliminary hearing on one felony bail-jumping charge and one misdemeanor. The court entered a not-guilty plea, and a status hearing was scheduled for Oct. 22, at 9 a.m.
Ross Bolingbroke, 39, of Lac du Flambeau, had preliminary hearings on multiple felonies including bail jumping and substantial battery in separate cases. Two different officers from the Lac Du Flambeau Tribal Police Department provided testimony and identified Bolingbroke.
The arraignment hearings in both cases are set for Nov. 18, at 1:45 p.m.
Emma Beighley, 36, of Lac du Flambeau, made an initial appearance last week on one felony charge of misappropriating ID info for money.
The court ordered a $1,000 signature bond with conditions in the case. An adjourned initial appearance is scheduled next for Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 11:30 a.m.
Amber Janssen, 35, of Minocqua, pleaded guilty and the court entered a deferred entry of judgment on one felony count of moveable property theft, between $2,500 and $5,000.
A restitution hearing is set for Nov. 25, at 1:30 p.m., before a review hearing was scheduled for April 25, 2025.
Earl Cross V, 37, of Lac du Flambeau, did not appear for hearings in multiple cases that involved a handful of felonies and misdemeanors.
Branch 1 Judge Martha Milanowski issued a $500 bench warrant for the nonappearance.
Chelsey Day, 40, of Minocqua, failed to appear in a case involving one felony count of bail jumping and narcotic drug possession and one misdemeanor charge of controlled substance possession. A body-only bench warrant was ordered by Judge Martha Milanowski.
Teresa Link, 43, of Rhinelander, appeared for a judicial pretrial on one felony count of methamphetamine possession and one felony count of narcotic drug possession.
Judge Milanowski modified Link’s signature bond to $2,500 with conditions. Another judicial pretrial was set for Dec. 17, at 10:30 a.m.
