International brass quintet to kick off HCPA season

Posted

The Headwaters Council for the Performing Arts (HCPA), together with show sponsor Nicolet National Bank, will launch the 2025–2026 performance season with the internationally acclaimed quintet M5 — The Mexican Brass on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 4 p.m. at Northland Pines High School Auditorium in Eagle River.

Now celebrating their 20th anniversary, M5 delivers a dynamic mix of classical, opera, jazz, pop, and Latin styles — infused with humor, showmanship, and lively audience interaction.

Since their founding in 2005, M5 has performed more than 1,500 concerts across five continents and is recognized as one of Latin America’s most successful chamber ensembles. They have appeared at world-class venues including the Kennedy Center, while their educational outreach has reached over 200,000 children throughout Mexico, the U.S., and Canada.

Tickets are $35 and available at Eagle River Roasters, online at hcpapresents.com, or at the door beginning at 3 p.m. the day of the show.

All seating is general admission. Both the high school and auditorium are fully handicapped accessible.

For more information, call ticket director Debbie Poulopoulos at 630-712-0530 or visit hcpapresents.com.

HCPA is a nonprofit organization supported in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
