Posted

Katie Pinder Brown will be performing her acclaimed Carole King tribute, Natural Woman, on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Northland Pines High School Auditorium.

The show is the third show presented by the Headwaters Council for the Performing Arts’ (HCPA) 2024-2025 season.

Katie Pinder Brown mesmerizes audiences with her tribute to Carole King, featuring a range of King’s classic hits like “(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman” and “You’ve Got A Friend.” Brown is celebrated for her versatility across musical genres from jazz to rock and roll, and has brought her powerhouse performances to 24 U.S. states, 18 countries, and four continents.

A graduate of Stetson University’s School of Music, Brown has performed for American troops and at major venues like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and on the Disney Cruise Line.

To enhance the evening, local musicians Gerry and Laura Plank will perform a selection of 60s and 70s favorites, along with their Tall Pines Jazz repertoire, in the auditorium lobby at 6:15 p.m.

Continuing its new tradition of offering seasonal raffle baskets, HCPA’s November theme is Embracing Women Entrepreneurs. The baskets will feature items from local women-owned businesses, including gift certificates, decorative items and spa treats.

Tickets for the raffle are one for $5 or five for $20.

Tickets for Natural Woman are $35 and can be purchased at Eagle River Roasters until Nov. 15, online at HCPApresents.com, or at the door starting at 6 p.m. the night of the show.
