The Eagle River Lions Club recently made a $1,000 donation to the Northwoods Children’s Museum.
“Donations from supporters around our community mean so much to us,” commented the museum’s Executive Director, Danielle Larsen. “We appreciate the collaborations and know we couldn’t do what we love without help from our community.”
Larsen says that the funding will go towards the museum’s expansion fundraising.
The Northwoods Children’s Museum provides 26 hands-on, interactive exhibits to provide educational opportunities for children and families. The low-tech approach encourages parents and caregivers to play with their children and learn alongside them.
Eagle River Lion’s Club member, Matt Kluetz, states that, “The Eagle River Lion’s Club is happy to support the Northwoods Children’s Museum in its mission to encourage a lifelong love of learning. We are grateful the museum is here to support the children of the Northwoods.”
