The Northland Pines Music Boosters Executive Board is seeking support from area businesses for its 17th annual Cabaret Concert, scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, at 6 p.m. in the Northland Pines High School Commons in Eagle River.
The Northland Pines Music Boosters is a parent and community organization that supports instrumental, vocal and general music programs throughout the district.
The Cabaret Concert, the group’s primary annual fundraiser, will feature performances by the Northland Pines Jazz Ensemble and Choir. To help meet fundraising goals, local businesses are invited to donate products or gift certificates, which will be included in raffle baskets at the event.
This year, the Music Boosters provided essential support for the school musical, “The Little Mermaid,” awarded more than $2,000 in senior music scholarships, helped fund an upcoming band and choir trip to New York City, provided meals for the pep band, and is supporting this summer’s Missoula Children’s Theatre residency.
Businesses interested in contributing a product, gift certificate or financial donation may mail or drop off items at Northland Pines High School, attn: Kate Janssen, Choir, 1800 Pleasure Island Road, Eagle River, WI 54521.
