Posted

Nicholas Petreikis from Eagle River, who is studying Public Policy and Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is part of the 2024-25 Dean’s Advisory Council (DAC) for the University’s College of Letters and Sciences.

Petreikis represents the public policy and administration program(s) within the College of Letters and Sciences.

Students who serve on the DAC are invited to serve by their major department chairperson. Students accepting the appointment serve as student liaisons, and are responsible for communicating student concerns and ideas directly to the Dean for the betterment of each of their respective colleges and of the university.

The DAC meets regularly to identify proactive strategies to get students connected to faculty, staff, the campus, the community, and with alumni. The group also discusses and makes recommendations about campus trends that impact services, programs, and general campus life.
