Northwoods Share Inc. (NWS) is having a free community dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Anyone from the community is invited to come by and enjoy time together.
Eagle River Transmission located on Highway 17 is sponsoring this meal, and The Heid Out is doing the catering.
A menu of beef tips and noodles along with Italian salad and a roll and pie for dessert is planned, with appetizers starting at 4:30 p.m., when doors open, followed by dinner served at 5:30 p.m.
There will be an opportunity to give a free will offering if anyone wants to.
The dinner will be held in the dining room of the Rock Mission Center at 1019 E. Wall St. in Eagle River.
NWS is a nonprofit organization with a Needs Ministry which provides a pantry with free paper products and soaps, along with personal care items and clothing, to assist families in this community. They also have the program ICHELP that helps financially and assists families in budgeting with spending journals.
There is a 24-hour phone for emergencies at (715) 891-8966.
NWS has also recently opened its first Esther’s House as a transitional home for moms and their children.
