Northwoods Wildlife Center to mark 47 years with fundraiser at Whitetail Inn

Posted

The Northwoods Wildlife Center will host its Night for Wildlife fundraiser dinner on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Whitetail Inn in St. Germain, celebrating 47 years of wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and education in northern Wisconsin.

Happy hour begins at 4 p.m., followed by the main program from 5 to 8 p.m.

The evening will feature multiple food stations, a silent auction, and a live auction with exclusive packages led by auctioneer Bryan Mergen. Live music and opportunities to meet some of the center’s resident education animals will also be part of the event.

Attendees who purchase raffle tickets can take part in activities at three “mission stations,” which include trivia, wildlife facts and a spin on the Volunteer Wheel. Guests who complete all three stations will be eligible for the evening’s grand prize.

“This year’s Night for Wildlife is about more than celebrating our history,” said Bryon Black, executive director of the Northwoods Wildlife Center. “It’s about bringing our community together for a fun, interactive evening, while raising essential funds for the future of wildlife rescue and education in the North Woods.”

Proceeds will support the center’s mission of providing a better future for wildlife through rescue, rehabilitation and education.

Early-bird tickets cost $50 per person through Oct. 10. General admission is $75 after Oct. 10. Tickets are available at northwoodswildlife.org.

The Whitetail Inn is located at 9038 Hwy. 70 W., St. Germain. For more information, sponsorship opportunities or to donate auction items, contact the Northwoods Wildlife Center at 715-356-7400.
