PADDLE & PARTY — Paddlers hit the Wisconsin River on Saturday for the Feed Our Rural Kids (FORK) on the River charity paddle and party hosted by Wildwood Outdoor Adventures and Campground in Eagle River. This year’s event included approximately 30 paddlers, about double last year’s turnout, organizers said. Proceeds from the event support FORK, which helps children facing food insecurity across the Northwoods. Here, kayakers launch the roughly two-hour trip from the Highway G boat landing.
