RECORD RACERS — The 11th annual Junker Sled races in Three Lakes drew a record number of racers and more than 2,000 spectators despite cold and windy weather on Saturday. Cofounders John Kendall and Chris Dobbins said 173 racers registered for 278 entry spots. Snowmobiles must be from 1990 or prior, and can't be worth more than $500 to compete. "Races are filled with many locals, but we have great attendance from many other states, some as far as Florida," organizers said. —Photos By Rachel Wood
