Photos: Northwoods Share hosts kids shopping night
IMPORTANCE OF GIVING — Northwoods Share put on its community-sponsored shopping event last Wednesday evening. More than 40 families signed up for the event, which allows children the chance to learn the importance of giving by shopping for others. All items were donated by community members, and the all-volunteer staff helped children choose and wrap gifts while their parents waited in a separate area, fully stocked with Christmas cookies. Tables were stocked with items to choose from while personal shoppers guided kids. —Staff Photos By MICHELLE DREW
