PACKED WITH PUMPKINS — Three Lakes was bustling with its 32nd annual Pumpkin Fest event held at the school, offering many vendors, bakery items, Pumpkin Fest swag, soups and more. Proceeds from the event go toward the Three Lakes Volunteer Fire Department and other community group projects. It's held the weekend after Cranberry Fest each year. Shoppers make an important decision on which witch to take home.
The 45-foot dessert table with goods baked by Three Lakes Fire Department Auxiliary members is always a big draw. The popular cinnamon rolls sold out before noon, but the pumpkin-flavored rolls were still available.
Plenty of Christmas-themed items were available for those looking to get an early start.

All the food offered by volunteers at this year's Pumpkin Fest was sold out by the end of the event, with hungry hoards enjoying baked goods and soups at the event.
Three Lakes Fire Department's new Sherp amphibious rescue vehicle was on display outside Pumpkin Fest. Funds raised during last year's event helped pay for the new equipment.
