St. Mary of the Snows Anglican Church in Eagle River will be sponsoring a free Thanksgiving Day dinner on Thursday, Nov. 28, between the hours of 3:30 - 6 p.m.
Doors will open at 3 p.m. A traditional Thanksgiving menu consisting of turkey, ham, pollack with creamy tarragon sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, assorted vegetables and desserts will be served.
The dinner is open to the public and will be catered by Marksman.
“Holidays are a difficult time for many. The dinner is a great opportunity for those who may be alone or without family this Thanksgiving Day to enjoy great food and connect with others in a community environment,” stated a church member.
St. Mary of the Snows is home to the Rock Mission Center and is located at 1019 Wall St. in Eagle River next to Trig’s grocery. No reservations are needed.
