Rock ’n Roll comes to Eagle River Saturday

Posted

The Headwaters Council for the Performing Arts (HCPA) welcomes “rock ’n roller” Jared Freiburg and the Vagabonds to the Northland Pines High School on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m.

Freiburg debuted the trio in 2019, as a new venture, which blends together his experience as a rock and roll pianist along with his other musical passions including jazz, blues, and country music into a high-energy stage show.

Freiburg’s cohorts — a drummer and bass player — are known to have big talents as well. Freiburg currently tours around the United States and has cornered various cruise line markets.

The trio will fill the auditorium with “good vibrations”, piano mastery, and a nonstop parade of favorite golden oldies that have lived on through generations — songs like “Wild Child,” “Blueberry Hill,” and “Blue Suede Shoes.”

HCPA will again offer two “Celebrating the Harvest” basket drawings which will include lots of fall goodies and gift certificates from craft market vendors and local businesses. The approximate value of all items is close to $300. Tickets will be sold on the day of the performance, one for $5, and 5 for $20. The winners will be announced during intermission.

Also, back by popular demand, the Woodland Strings will also perform prior to the show starting at 6:15 p.m.

Individual tickets for the show are $35 and may be purchased at Eagle River Roasters through Friday, Oct. 18, online at HCPApresents.com, or at the door the day of the performance beginning at 6 p.m.

For more information about tickets and shows, contact ticket director Rick Roder at (920) 676-3621 or visit HCPApresents.com.
