SkillsUSA students plan breakfast fundraiser for nationals trip

Posted

The Phelps School SkillsUSA students will host a breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, May 9, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at Sunrise Lodge.

Students are raising funds to help send two teams of three students each to the national SkillsUSA competition in Atlanta in June after advancing at the state competition in Madison.

The students competing include Jodie Grasse, Robert Wenberg, Alivia Jones, Keira Riihimaki, Terefech Snook and Isaiah Perlewitz.

Attendees can enjoy breakfast, participate in a 50/50 raffle and try their luck in a basket raffle.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased at the school office, from SkillsUSA team members, or at the door.

Sunrise Lodge is located at 5984 W. Shore Road in Land O’ Lakes.

SkillsUSA is a national organization that helps students develop workforce skills through leadership, teamwork and hands-on competitions.
